Our Wound Care program is designed to maximize wound healing. By staying current with new products and protocols our nurses are skilled in the latest wound care techniques. By reducing infections and preventing re-admissions to the hospital, we achieve improved outcomes for this population in a cost-effective manner. Our nursing staff is well trained and skilled in the use of negative pressure therapy. Negative pressure therapy is a well established and proven method used in the treatment of moderate to severe wounds. ​
Program Services
  • Expert assessment and evaluation that includes digital photographic reporting of wound status, nutritional assessment, weekly outcome measurements, and the use of quality wound care products that will facilitate the best and quickest healing potential.
  • Advanced treatment options such as Anodyne Therapy and Wound Vacs are available for complicated wound management.
  • Ostomy Care provides individualized ostomy care protocols.
  • Education provided on such topics as infection control, medications, ADL safety, risk factors, nutrition, emergency protocols, and preventive measures.
  • Rehabilitative therapy provided, where appropriate, to assist with improved function and safety in the home.
  • Competency tested staff - To inusre our clinical personnel have the needed skills and current protocols, we incorporate ongoing in-services and continuing education programs into our programs.
